Because engineers design and build systems and products, project-based activities are an integral part of a productive CDIO learning environment. In the CDIO Initiative, project-based learning (PjBL) support the theory-to-practice progression.
Projects that involve conceiving, designing, implementing and operating are woven into the successful CDIO curriculum. Project-based activities are central to CDIO Standard 5 (Design-Build Experiences).
